Discover our inspirations, fabrics and colour palette for our brand new collection!

For this Fall, we wanted to offer you a collection that worked around the notion of volume. Whether it's by design or simply by choice of fabrics, you will find textures, lengths and shapes to bring you a sophisticated, rich and modern collection. You will find original pieces that are inspired by the 80's while taking on a modern aesthetic.

Fabrics

QUILTED FABRIC

49% viscose / 49% polyester / 2 % elasthan

 Canadian fabric

For a more sporty and modern approach to the traditional winter knitting, we opted for the quilted fabric that brings texture and renewal to our collection. The pieces made in this material have been designed to follow you throughout this season with their versatile, simple and clean look. This Montreal made fabric is warm and comfortable.

STRETCH WOVEN

64% coton / 32% polyamide / 4% élasthanne

Our Houndstooth fabric brings the feel of the 80's to the collection. The classic yet iconic pattern has been used to create some of the leading pieces of the season. This extremely stretchy and luscious fabric has been used to create trendy, bold yet wearable looks. 

SATIN

95% polyester / 5% spandex 

This satin is a key material in our collection as it enhances and illuminates our fabric assortment. Its refined and sophisticated side has been exploited for pieces such as the BLAIR and BEETHOVEN dresses. We have also used it in a simpler way to create more accessible look like the BINALI and the BRIGITTE.

JACQUARD

50% polyester / 28% nylon / 20% viscose / 2% spandex

 Canadian fabric

We have used this jacquard to produce styles that we consider indispensable for the cold season. Cardigan, turtleneck, tunic and pants, just to name a few, will allow you to spend a warm winter in comfort. Indeed, its extensibility and softness make it one of our favorite fabrics in this collection.

JERSEY

90% bambou-rayonne bio / 10% spandex

 Canadian fabric

Bamboo jersey, a key material that you will find from season to season, is comfortable and durable as well as being organic. It reacts very well to the test of time. A must have for any Melow fan.

PONTE DE ROMA

70% viscose / 20% nylon / 10% spandex

 Canadian fabric

PDR is an essential fabric at Melow. WILFRED, ZATAR and ZOULOU keep coming back year after year. Indeed, the smooth and structured construction of this fabric allows it to be worn for dressy looks while remaining comfortable and wrinkle free. Plus, you will find that this easy-to-care fabric ages very well, allowing a longer lifetime for your precious garments!
