Sale, shipping & returns conditions
SHIPPING
Orders are processed within 2 working days, unless advised otherwise.
We offer FREE SHIPPING on all orders over CAD150, before taxes, that are shipped within Canada and the US.
Shipping fees are determined according to the destination address.
All Canada orders are subject to sales taxes, which are collected at the time of check out.
International shipping charges (all orders outside Canada) DO NOT INCLUDE the applicable import duties or taxes that are due upon entry into the destination country. All duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer and must be paid at the time of delivery. Please contact your local customs office for more information.
We are committed to our quality and each item is inspected carefully before shipping. If defect or damage is found upon receipt, please contact us within 7 days of receipt.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES POLICY
We understand that with Melow's unique shapes and cuts, you will need to try and feel each garment. If you are not satisfied with your purchase and you wish to exchange, please contact us at info@melowdesign.com within 10 days of receipt.
Items being returned must be unworn, unaltered, or unwashed with their original tags.
The last chance items are FINAL SALE.
Except in the case of defect or mistake on our part, customers will be responsible to send the item back to us at their expense. You can also return your order in person at our Montreal workshop from 8:30 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. However, it cannot be returned to any other Melow point of sale.
We strongly recommend returning any shipments with a tracking number for your own protection since we are not responsible for any lost or damaged shipments.
- EXCHANGE
Once we receive your package, we will promptly process the exchange. We will cover the shipping costs of the new item unless the exchange concerns an item on sale.
If the price of the new item is higher than the returned item, an email with the invoice and a link to pay the difference will be sent to you.
If the price of the new item is lower than the returned item, a gift card for the amount of the difference will be sent to you by email and can be used on your next order.
- REFUNDS
No refunds will be issued.
- GIFT CARD
If you do not want an exchange, we will email you a gift card for the amount of your original order (initial shipping costs excluded), as per our policy. We do NOT issue REFUNDS unless the item is defective.
The gift card can be used on a future purchase online or in our Montreal boutique. However, it is not valid at any other point of sale.
- ITEM ON SALE
Items on sale are also exchangeable for another item or a gift card. However, customers are responsible for shipping costs.
- UNITED STATES AND INTERNATIONAL RETURNS
Returns from the U.S. must be shipped via the United States Postal Service (USPS). All returned items should be declared as a "Return of Canadian Merchandise" on the customs declaration; returned packages that don't have this mention on their custom declaration may not be successfully delivered to us and may incur additional fees. Packages that incur any brokerage fee will be denied.
